Ted Chamberlain is a voice coach, educator, and performer with more than 40 years of experience helping people strengthen and refine how they sing and speak. His background in both classical vocal training and contemporary performance gives him a wide lens — but it’s his thoughtful, individual approach that clients value most.

Ted doesn’t believe in cookie-cutter technique. He listens first. Then, with clarity and care, he helps each client build the skills and confidence needed to express themselves fully — whether on stage, in rehearsal, or in everyday communication.

Over the course of his career, Ted has:
– Earned degrees in Vocal Performance and Music Education
– Taught secondary choir for over three decades
– Earned National Board Certification in Vocal Music
– Served on faculty for Harmony University and Harmony College Northwest
– Directed choruses and coached barbershop quartets throughout the Northwest
– Helped students move into careers in theater, opera, teaching, and beyond

Today, through Ted’s Voice Academy, he works with singers of all levels, as well as professionals who rely on their voice in leadership, education, sales, and public speaking. His coaching is known for being clear, encouraging, and grounded in real-world results — with a focus on vocal health, artistic integrity, and personal growth.
